I am Jori Pitkänen, a Playback Theatre artist and trainer from Finland, meddling in all fields of Playback Theatre – including co-training with Päivi Rahmel in the Leadership of the Finnish School of Playback Theater. I am also the President of the International Playback Theatre Network.

The Change in Playback Theatre

What have we learnt about Playback Theatre during the times of Corona? What are the possibilities and limitations of camera work? What do we want to take with us to the stage from Online Playback Theatre? And what definitely not? This workshop aims to co-create and co-innovate ways to do Playback Theatre, and gain something new from the times of isolation.
